I read your poem today

In your usual way

You captivated my heart

With your lush landscape of desire

You caressed my innermost being with your innocent, almost reckless look

Yes, I read your poem today

Scribbled on your facial expressions

It spoke of your loneliness and your dreams

Actually, it delved deep into your most private thoughts

Exposing a well manicured botanical garden of the most precious feelings

I could feel your breath on my neck

As you described your longings

It was not just me trespassing through your mind

You actually invited me to walk with you inside the dungeon of your desires

It was not really a nasty place

It was mouthwatering and full of delicious moments

I had to pause time and time again, just to pinch myself

So that I can be able to follow your beautiful poetic spirit deep into the thicket of your being

In its lonely walks across the vast terrain of the self

You have a way of pulling me to your most sensitive private parts

Like a magnet, you made me open your hidden secret doors

You're way too liberal with your lips

And I am very much willing to be your secret lover

So, I will re-read your poem again

Just to be with you once more

I am already addicted to the scent of your beautiful spirit
